1. What do I do with my Pre-Registration forms, once I have completed the online enrollment process?
Bring the TWO pre-registration forms along with your check for registration fees to one of the designated registration
sites on the dates posted on the website. There will be a special "Express Lane" for pre-registered players. Also bring
any other documentation required.
2. I can see the "My eAYSO" menu but I cannot click on the "Add a Player" link. Why not?
Go to "View/Edit Parent Information". Make sure you have designated a "Relationship to Child" status. If your forgot
this required field, you will not be able to access "Add a Player"
3. Sometimes when I log-in, and the try to go to a section, the program jumps me back the log-in page. What do I do?
Try to log in again. Sometimes the program has too many people logged in at one time and kicks a person off. Just try again at a later time.
4. Is my child guaranteed a spot if I pre-register or register on time?
Yes, placement on a team is guaranteed if you register on time. If you miss the registration days, you will have to go through the waiting list
process. It is not likely that you will be placed on a team but it is your only chance if vacancies occur.
5. If I volunteer with Rogers Park AYSO, will my child's registration be given priority?
Players whose parents volunteer ONLINE as coaches, asst coaches, or referees, will be given priority in the registration process.
6. How can I become a volunteer?
When you pre-register a child, on the registration form, there is check box asking if you would like to volunteer and in what capacity.
Once you choose this, we strongly recommend that you fill out the online "Become a Volunteer" Section from the "My eAYSO" menu. We will
provide training, free of charge, for all coaching, refereeing and other positions.
***Please remember that AYSO is an all volunteer organization which depends entirely on the involvement of the parents of our players.
7. Do I need to register each of my children if I have more than one child playing?
Yes, you will need to register each child'separately. Just go to the main "MY eAYSO" page and click on "Add an New Player" for each additional child.
8. Why can't I access eAYSO?
It maybe because you are trying to access during a scheduled maintenance of the eAYSO system, this is usually done between 8 pm and midnight every Monday.
All other times, the eAYSO system should be available. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again at a different time.
9. I am having problems printing the forms. What do I do?
This is very difficult to answer since every printer is different. These are a few tips we can offer.
1. Is it safe giving my Social Security Number (SSN) online?
Yes, the SSN is stored in the eAYSO database with 128 bit encryption. When Users visit a page containing the SSN or Drivers License, they will
be routed through a secure socket layer. The system is designed so that only the specific administrative AYSO staff can view the volunteer detail
page which shows SSN, address, phone #Ős, etc. Any other volunteers will get a restricted page message. For the above staff that have access to
the detail page, the SSN field is hidden (numbers appear as *).
2. Is my personal data safe?
A functional team of volunteers from across the country advised the eAYSO designers on all aspects of the system, including security and usability.
Using their input, we have designed this system for the simple volunteer and parents who may not normally use computers, as well as for a volunteer who is an IT expert.
No unauthorized user can enter our network. Secondly, all Volunteer pages are secure pages (https://). The SSN, DL# and/or State ID fields are stored in the database using industry-standard 126 bit encryption. With these 3 levels of security we are confident that the site is secure. Additionally, whenever this information is displayed in a lookup screen, the sensitive personal information is blocked out. Only the people in the National CVPA office here in Hawthorne have access rights to view the full SSN and/or DL #.
3. Why Does AYSO Need Social Security Numbers of Volunteers?
